Laughing Through the Panic

a sign that reads: panic attacks

In my world of overthinking, I'm the star,

Every little cough sends me straight to par.

I check my pulse like a doctor on the go,

Convinced I'll diagnose myself before the pros.

Friends chuckle, doctors shake their head,

But I'm busy Googling, seeing red.

I've got a first aid kit for every scare,

But maybe it's time to give myself some air.

So here's to laughing at my health scares, sure,

But also to a life that's less obscure.

I'll take each day with a pinch of salt,

And someday, maybe, let go of this vault.
